Frequently asked questions

Where can I find the latest South Africa netball fixtures?

This page lists upcoming South African netball fixtures, including the SPAR Proteas and the Telkom Netball League, with dates, start times in SAST, venues and the competition. It is refreshed regularly from official schedules, so you can see what is coming up at a glance.

Which competitions are covered?

It brings the major South African netball together in one place, including SPAR Proteas internationals such as test series and the Commonwealth Games, alongside the Telkom Netball League, the country's premier domestic competition with its Division 1 and Division 2 franchise teams.

Are the match times in South African time?

Yes. All times are shown in South African Standard Time, SAST, which is UTC plus two hours. For matches played abroad, the start time is converted to SAST so you know when to tune in locally.

Why are some fixtures marked TBC?

TBC means the date or time is still to be confirmed. Knockout matches and tournament draws are often announced before the exact schedule is finalised, so those fixtures are flagged until an official time is published, then updated.

Does this include both the SPAR Proteas and the Telkom Netball League?

Yes. The page covers the national side, the SPAR Proteas, together with the Telkom Netball League franchises, so you can filter for your team as well as follow the international games from one place.

Can I add these fixtures to my own calendar?

Yes. Click the Add to calendar button near the filters and your browser downloads a standard calendar file, an .ics, that opens in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. It saves the fixtures you are currently viewing, so if you filter by a team or a competition first, only those upcoming matches are added. Each match is stored with its correct start time, so it shows at the right moment in your calendar wherever you are in the world. Fixtures still marked TBC are added as all day entries until an exact time is confirmed. The file is a snapshot from the moment you download it, so if the schedule changes later, just click the button again to refresh your copy.
