Frequently asked questions

Where can I see the latest South Africa cricket fixtures?

This page lists upcoming Proteas and South African domestic cricket fixtures, with dates, start times in SAST, venues and the format. It is refreshed regularly from official schedules, so you can check what is coming up at a glance.

What do Test, ODI and T20I mean?

They are the three international formats. A Test is the long format played over up to five days. An ODI, or One Day International, is 50 overs a side in a single day. A T20I is the shortest format, 20 overs a side, usually finished in about three hours.

Are the match times in South African time?

Yes. All times are shown in South African Standard Time, SAST, which is UTC plus two hours. For matches played abroad, the start time is converted to SAST so you know when to tune in locally.

Why are some fixtures marked TBC?

TBC means the date or time is still to be confirmed. Some series are announced before the exact schedule is finalised, so those fixtures are flagged until an official date is published, then updated.

Does this include domestic cricket as well as the Proteas?

Yes. Alongside the national side, the page covers South African domestic teams, so you can filter for franchise and provincial matches as well as international games.

Can I add these fixtures to my own calendar?

Yes. Click the Add to calendar button near the filters and your browser downloads a standard calendar file, an .ics, that opens in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. It saves the fixtures you are currently viewing, so if you filter by a team or a format first, only those upcoming matches are added. Each match is stored with its correct start time, so it shows at the right moment in your calendar wherever you are in the world. Tests are added as multi day entries and limited overs matches as timed events. Fixtures still marked TBC are added as all day entries until an exact time is confirmed. The file is a snapshot from the moment you download it, so if the schedule changes later, just click the button again to refresh your copy.
