Assumptions & disclaimer β 2026-04-final-v9
- All calculations assume eBucks Reward Level 5 with Virtual Card usage.
- PnP in-store: 20% back. PnP asap!: 30% back (all packages). Grocery eBucks are capped by a shared pool: Premier = lesser of 20% of total card spend or R3,000 total grocery spend; Private Clients = 20% or R6,000; Private Wealth = 20% or R10,000. The grocery spend cap = the lesser of 20% of your total monthly qualifying card spend OR the fixed package maximum (R3,000 Premier Β· R6,000 Private Clients Β· R10,000 Private Wealth). The fixed cap is the ceiling β 20% can only reduce it. Cap applied in priority order: PnP in-store first, then Spar, then PnP asap!.
- Spar: 15% back (Private Clients & Private Wealth only). Premier customers do not earn eBucks at Spar.
- Clicks: 15% back (all packages). Cap = lesser of 20% of total monthly qualifying card spend or R2,000 (Premier) Β· R2,500 (Private Clients) Β· R3,000 (Private Wealth).
- Pick n Pay Clothing: 20% back (all packages). Fixed spend cap only β R1,000 (Premier) Β· R2,000 (Private Clients) Β· R3,000 (Private Wealth). Not subject to the 20% rule. Separate from the grocery pool.
- Engen base: R4/litre (virtual card, Level 5). WesBank Vehicle Finance (or Toyota Financial Services) adds +R2/litre. FNB Short Term Comprehensive Car Insurance adds +R2/litre, separately capped at 30% of the monthly insurance premium. Maximum rate: R8/litre. Engen overall cap: lesser of 20% of total card spend or the package fixed cap β Premier R2,000/month, Private Clients R2,500/month, Private Wealth R3,000/month. Average fuel price assumed: R24/litre.
- Smart Spend (general card spend): tiered table from official FNB earn rules. Max R600/month (Premier), R1,500 (Private Clients), R3,000 (Private Wealth) at Level 5.
